Southern Heritage GSPs was born from a lifelong love of the outdoors and an unwavering respect for one of the most versatile sporting breeds in the world. We are a small, family-run operation nestled in the beautiful Denver foothills — where the Rocky Mountains meet wide open fields.
Every puppy we raise is whelped in our home, handled daily from birth, and socialized with children, other animals, and the sights and sounds of real life. We believe a well-bred GSP should be equally at home flushing birds in the field and curled up by the fireplace.
As a humane breeder, we never cut corners on health testing, vet care, or the time we invest in each litter. When you choose a Southern Heritage puppy, you're joining our extended family — and we'll be here for you every step of the way.

All breeding dogs are OFA certified for hips, elbows, eyes, and cardiac health before being included in our program. No exceptions.
Every puppy receives a full veterinary exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and microchip before going to their new home.
Puppies are whelped and raised inside our home using Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and structured socialization protocols.
All puppies come with full AKC registration papers, a pedigree, and a health guarantee backed by our contract.
We never use cages as a primary housing method. Our dogs live as family members — because we believe that's how it should be.
We are always just a phone call away. From potty training questions to health concerns, we support our puppy families for life.
